On Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016 we got stuck in sand 2 miles south of High Island on Hwy 87. A good Samaritan pulled us up on the highway but damaged the rear end of our 09 Volkswagon EOS. AAA sent Car Wars out to tow us into Beaumont. Karl and Puppy showed up in the big pink rig, got us loaded up and drove us into town. Karl took us to Scott's Import, thank God, where we were treated like royalty. He also gave us some excellent advice about where to stay overnight. If you are ever in a bind, call these guys! Karl is a prince of a guy and we will be forever grateful for his rescue! Also to get to meet Pup and visit with him on the way into Beaumont!
